What we do

Three programs, one community.

For members, future teachers and families: programs designed by teachers who have been there themselves.

Entraide entre membres
Teachers' well-being comes first.

Peer support among members

Our collective offers professional development sessions and organizes activities for members' social and mental well-being. Sharing useful information and teaching resources, keeping our communication tools up to date and taking time to unwind all help teachers thrive.

Ateliers d'aide aux étudiant·es en éducation

Workshops for education students

We offer workshops to prepare for the practicums future teachers must complete to earn their teaching certificate. We focus on future teachers from immigrant backgrounds, with tools and strategies to understand Alberta classrooms and move from university student to student teacher, then to teacher.

Lesson plans, unit plans, the new curriculum
Interview and job fair preparation
Présentations aux parents d'élèves
Help to understand Alberta's school system.

Presentations for parents

Finding your way in Alberta's school system as a newcomer can be intimidating. Our presentations explain how Alberta schools work, elementary and high school programs, high school diploma requirements and the extracurricular activities open to students.
